His specialty is helping medical school graduates make sense of their student loan portfolios and develop repayment strategies as they transition into their careers or move into residency programs. In August of 2008, he started his own company, PGPresents, designed to help borrowers who need straight answers, objective information, timely updates, and personalized help managing their student loans. His PG On-Call® and PG Triage® services designed specifically for medical residents recently received Trademark approval from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Paul also works with medical and other health sciences schools and organizations who need help with their educational debt management programs.
Mr. Garrard has experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors of higher education and student financial aid, with the latter including working in private credit and running the Private Consolidation Loan program at Sallie Mae.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and the M.B.A. from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
Mr. Garrard works out of his home in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
